DA Deciding Whether Or Not To Charge Justin Bieber

Three weeks ago, Justin Bieber got into an altercation with a photographer. The dude reportedly spotted the pop star’s car, double parked behind him and started taking snapshots of the Biebs and his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Not surprisingly, a bit of a scuffle allegedly ensued after the mystery guy refused to move his car, but eventually, the couple left without injury. Given Bieber’s size and lack of violent history, you would have assumed the photographer would have left without injury too, but he immediately called an ambulance and later filed a police report claiming he was hurt.

Throughout June, authorities conducted an investigation and interviewed all involved to discern what really happened. They haven’t yet made their findings public, but according to The Los Angeles Times, we should know them shortly. That’s because the case has been officially turned over to the district attorney, leaving the office with the simple choices of either moving forward and pressing charges against Bieber or dropping the matter entirely.

It seems unlikely the DA will choose the first option. Famous people have been charged for far less, but considering Bieber hasn’t even bothered to comment on what happened, you would think his attorney isn’t overly concerned about what’s transpiring. Celebrities love getting out ahead of a potentially inflammatory story, but if there’s really no story here at all, he’s smart to stay mum.
